Get Started with Meter AI in Seconds

Meter AI is designed to integrate seamlessly into your current browser workspace. It is a lightweight, local-first utility compatible with Chromium-based web browsers and Mozilla Firefox, operating entirely on your local device without sending prompt data to remote servers.

Step 1: Install the Extension

Depending on your browser of choice, select the correct official web store:

• Google Chrome, Brave, Edge, or Opera: Visit the Google Chrome Web Store. Click "Add to Chrome" and approve the required extension permissions. We recommend pinning the extension icon to your browser toolbar for instant access to settings.
• Mozilla Firefox: Visit the official Firefox Browser Add-ons store. Click "Add to Firefox" and confirm the installation.

Step 2: Initialize on Claude.ai

Once installation finishes, navigate to Claude.ai and sign in. Meter AI detects the page automatically and injects the live context window tracker progress bar in the bottom sidebar. No manual API setup or token key mapping is required.

Step 3: Track & Transfer

As you chat, monitor the usage meter. When approaching limits, click the extension icon to trigger a Context Bridge™ transfer to hand off your current conversation log safely to ChatGPT, Gemini, or Grok.
