What Meter AI Saves

We save configuration and history metrics directly to your browser's local sandbox profile. This data stays on your machine and includes:

• Activity histories (message counts, local sync states).
• Active reset timer parameters.

Data We Never Access

The extension ignores data outside your active AI workspace and never intercepts:

Meter AI is designed to run locally. The only times the extension makes outbound network requests are:

• License checking: To verify if a Pro subscription key is active.
• Extension updates: Standard browser checks to download version updates.

Third-Party Services

We partner with a limited list of external services to verify licensing and payment operations securely:

• Razorpay: Handles subscription payments. Payment data remains isolated on their secure site.
• Chrome Web Store: Manages extension distribution and user installation channels.
• Supabase: Checks the valid key list to confirm Pro subscriptions.

Your Controls & Data Retention

Your local stats, configuration states, and budgets remain on your browser tab profile. This data is saved until you choose to clear it. You can reset your configurations, clear your metrics, or delete all statistics instantly via the settings. When you uninstall the extension, the browser deletes all associated local settings automatically.

Can Meter AI read my conversations?

No. The extension estimates text length in memory to calculate progress bars but never stores or transmits the text of your conversations.

Where is my information stored?

All your settings, preferences, and local stats are stored securely in your browser's isolated local profile on your own computer. None of this data is uploaded to our servers.

Can I use Meter AI without creating an account?

Yes. The free core tracking features require no signup, registration, or email verification. You can use it immediately after installation.

Can I remove everything later?

Yes. You can clear all settings, reset countdown parameters, and delete local stats history instantly using the extension's settings panel.

Does Meter AI work offline?

Yes. Because all logic and estimation code run locally on your device, the tracking features continue to function without an active internet connection.

Does Meter AI share information with advertisers?

No. We do not place trackers, build profiling cookies, or collect search analytics. We generate revenue exclusively through premium Pro subscriptions.

What happens if I uninstall?

If you uninstall the extension, the browser deletes all local settings, daily statistics, and customized configurations immediately.
